Art has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up in a family of artists, I was encouraged to explore creativity from an early age, developing a deep appreciation for both the natural world and the act of making. Today, I work from my home studio, creating acrylic and mixed-media paintings that reflect my ongoing fascination with color, texture, light, and place.
My work is rooted in a loose, modern impressionistic style, drawing inspiration from floral subjects, landscapes, and still lifes. Through expressive brushwork and layered surfaces, I seek to capture not only the appearance of a subject but also its atmosphere and emotional resonance. As a lifelong student of the craft, I am continually exploring new techniques and approaches to painting. My work has been collected and exhibited locally throughout Utah, in Hawaiʻi, and internationally. Whether inspired by a mountain landscape, a garden in bloom, or the quiet beauty of everyday objects, my goal is to create paintings that invite viewers to pause, connect, and experience the world with fresh eyes. |
